Best Travel Destinations in Pakistan Part-1

Best Travel Destinations in Pakistan Part-1

Pakistan is enlisted as one of the top ten under the radar trips destination for 2020 by Forbes magazine. The US-based Conde Nast listed Pakistan as one of the top tourist destinations for 2020. British Backpackers Society unraveled in 2018 that Pakistan would be the next big thing in the tourist industry, now they have also declared Pakistan as the world’s third-highest potential adventure destination for 2020. Pakistan is a really beautiful place with its mesmerizing landscapes. After a long period of political instability and security conundrums, it has recovered very well and already catching the eye of travelers all around the world. Pakistan is home to 5 out of the 14 highest peaks of the world. The top three highest mountain ranges Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindukush are found in Pakistan. It is one of the most diversified places in the world.

Skardu:

Skardu is a must watch the place and it tops the list. If you want to see crystal clear water, towering mountains, sublime lakes, and wonderful people, Skardu is a place to go in Pakistan. Shangrila Resort and the cold deserts of Skardu are hypnotizing. The wide area full of the smell of Lavenders is a treat to watch. The scenery of sunrise and sunset on the verge of the Indus River is too beautiful to ignore. If you are interested in history, you can go and visit the 600 years old Kharpocho Fort. Don’t miss to go for shopping and eating in the markets of Skardu. If you like trekking, you can trek to the base camp of K2, which is the 2nd highest mountain peak in the world. If you do not visit the Deosai National Park, your tour will be incomplete.

Kalasha Valleys:

Kalash valley is commonly known as Kalash valley. It lies in the Northern area of Pakistan; a valley in the Chitral district. Kalash valley is home to very innocent and beautiful people of Kalash valley. You would not stop loving their dresses and indigenous color. The bewitching beauty of the area, the meadows, and the strange architecture of the houses are worth exploring. Bamburet is considered as the most famous place in the Kalasha valley, but the real culture of Kalasha is to be found in Rumboor and Birbir. The people of Kalash are very liberal and they are the descendant of the armies of Alexander the Great. The best thing about the Kalash valley is the festival that occurred there in the month of May. The food found in Kalash is no doubt sumptuous.

Islamabad:

Not that I love Rome less, but I love Islamabad more. The serenity of Islamabad is sacred. The capital is as green and clean as any city can get. If you are tired of the hush and rush in your life, you may come and visit Islamabad to relax. If you want to see the best beauty scenes, pray for the rain during your stay in Islamabad because the beauty of Islamabad is doubled in rain. It is a populated city but not as much as Karachi and Lahore. The cultural heritage monument of Lok Virsa is a must-visit place. The architecture of the Faisal Mosque is nowhere to be found in the world. If you like trekking, there are multiple trails in the dense jungle of Margalla hills. Do not miss to visit Monal because the cuisine and the location at the top of the city in the mountains make it the best place to eat food. Moreover, you can capture the best shots here for your Facebook and Insta profile with a magical background. Fatima Jinnah Park is the place for jogging in Islamabad. It is as big as you might have ever seen. If you are a foodie, you are at the perfect destination. You will find Pakistani, Bengali, Afghani, American, Italian, and many more kinds of foods. And let me tell you, they taste heavenly. Lake View Park is a place you will fall in love with. Saidpur village is a very old village right at the heart of Islamabad. The simplicity of the village is immaculate and food mouth-watering. The best places to go for shopping in Islamabad are the Centaurus Mall and Safa Gold Mall.

Gwadar:

The beautiful port city of Pakistan is going to be the next business hub of Asia and Africa due to its strategic location and CPEC. At least, more than 62 countries will be directly connected to Gwadar in the coming future, for its details I will have to do one separate article. The dunes of Gwadar, clear water of the Indian Ocean, white mountains and deep blue waters are the specialties of Gwadar. The Mud Volcano is very real and exists here. You can see mud erupting from the Mud Volcano in Gwadar.

Think of deep blue waters, white mountains, beautiful sceneries, and dunes. That’s what you’ll get to see in Gwadar, the beautiful port city in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The beauty of Astola Island is not much far from here. A motorboat will take you or you can go around fishing and watching dolphins.

Phandar Valley, Ghizer:

Phander valley is very famous for its colorful waters and dotted forests. The surroundings are completely unreal for a person who witnesses for the first time. It is the best place for hiking, fishing, camping, swimming, and nature walks.
